The FSE Regional Operational Programme 2014 – 2020 (POR Campania FSE 2014-2020) is set within a programmatic framework defined by the Europe 2020 Strategy with the aim of revitalising Europe through three priorities. Smart growth: to develop an economy based on knowledge and innovation; Sustainable growth: to promote a more resource-efficient, greener and more competitive economy; Inclusive growth: to promote an economy with a high employment rate that favours social and economic cohesion. The Programme is implemented through the Thematic Objectives 8, 9, 10 and 11 of the FSE Cohesion Policy, while at the same time guaranteeing integration at a strategic level with the other Thematic Objectives that characterise the 2014-2020 programming cycle and is divided into 4 Axes, in addition to the one dedicated to Technical Assistance.

Thematic Objectives of the European Social Fund
- OT 8 Promote sustainable and quality employment and support labour mobility;
OT 9 Promote social inclusion and combat poverty and all forms of discrimination;
OT 10 Invest in education, training and vocational training for skills and lifelong learning;
OT 11 Strengthen the institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and an efficient public administration.
