The 16th edition of the REGIOSTARS 2023 contest has been presented by the European Commission, which rewards the best projects financed under the cohesion policy every year.

Six thematic categories of the competition: “a competitive and intelligent Europe”, “a green Europe”, “a connected Europe”, “a social and inclusive Europe”, “a Europe closer to its citizens” and the “theme of the year” 2023 which is the European Year of Skills.
The competition will be open until 31 May 2023; the public can also participate and award the “public prize”.
The winners will be selected by an independent jury of high-level experts and announced at the REGIOSTARS ceremony in Ostrava, Czech Republic on November 16, 2023.

The award ceremony of the 2022 Edition took place in Evora last November during the meeting of the Member States’ cohesion policy communicators.
